The busy Parsudih-Station road which has turned dangerous for commuters will get a fresh lease of life soon. The state’s road construction department (RCD) under whose command the road in question falls has on Saturday floated tender for getting it repaired.
Executive engineer, RCD’s Jamshedpur division, Ramvilash Sahu said the department has tender value of damaged stretch of the road was estimated at Rs 20 lakh, suggesting that the commuters wiil get rid of troublesome riding.
“The Parsudih-Station road had not been properly repaired since the past five years. As the damaged stretch of road is flanked by railway station and SE Railway’s offices, the railway would do some patch-work on it.
