BENGALURU: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has ruled that the state cannot seek changes to an agreement signed between the distribution company and a developer but left the final decision on the dispute to the state’s power regulator.
Andhra Pradesh has been trying to renegotiate wind and solar power purchase agreements (PPAs) because the state’s new chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy feels they were signed at rates higher than those offered to other states.
