Ramban: The Srinagar- Jammu National Highway remained open for two-way traffic of light medium vehicles and one-way traffic of Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs) for valley Kashmir on Thursday.
However, traffic authorities said during the last 24 hours up to 5 pm, Thursday Jammu Srinagar NH-44 remained blocked for one hour and 27 minutes due to road repair work at Kunfer Chanderkote and the closure of the Chenani –Nashri tunnel.
Traffic officials in Ramban said the highway remained open for scheduled traffic on Thursday however the vehicular traffic remained slow at a few places due to the breakdown of vehicles and nomads, livestock movement through the highway.
