NEW DELHI: Union aviation minister J M Scindia on Sunday held a high-level meeting with top officials of his ministry and safety regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Sunday over the recent spike in technical snags. Scindia took a detailed report from officials about these incidents over the last one month and told them that there should be no compromise over passengers’ safety.
“The minister has directed that passenger safety is of paramount importance and that there will be zero tolerance to any safety violations. There can be no compromise on maintenance of fleet,” said sources.
