NEW DELHI: With no support coming in the recent Budget, India’s struggling to survive aviation industry has requested Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman to give some relief urgent. Jet fuel prices for domestic flights are at the highest ever level in the country thanks to high base prices and even higher tax and excise rates.
