MUMBAI: Faced with coronavirus-led cancellations and drop in demand, airlines, the world over, have begun launching limited sale offers. In India, low cost carrier SpiceJet on Thursday rolled out a mega ticket sale, but with a twist. The LCC will be offering the benefits of a full service carrier like free meals and seat along with the sale fare.
The four-day, limited inventory, sale launched on Thursday will be open till midnight 15 March for travel period upto 28 February, 2021.
The offer, available on select domestic and international sectors would have all-inclusive one-way fares begin from as low as Rs 987 for domestic sectors and Rs 3,699 for international sectors, said a statement released by SpiceJet. The all-inclusive offer includes a meal (veg sandwich) and a free seat (selective inventory), which is sure to give passengers more for less, it added.
