SpiceJet and Dubai-headquartered airline Emirates have signed a memorandum of understanding to enter into a reciprocal codeshare agreement that is set to open new routes and destinations for passengers between India and across America, Europe, Africa and West Asia.
The codeshare agreement will allow both the airlines to carry each other’s flight numbers, thereby allowing easier connections for each other’s passengers.
Single reservation
SpiceJet said in a statement that flyers on the codeshare routes will be able to book connecting flights using a single reservation.
