NEW DELHI: Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has finalised a plan for special cleaning and sweeping of 26 out of the 66 roads which will be mainly used by delegates during the G20 events.
The civic body has drawn up an action plan to pool in machinery and staff from other zones, depending on the requirement, to ensure that specific stretches are swept regularly and the central verges cleaned often. Among these 26 roads are Bhairon Marg, Purana Qila Road, Lala Lajpat Rai Marg, Suraj Kund Road, Africa Avenue, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, Bhartendu Harish Chandra Marg, Mathura Road, Netaji Subhash Marg, Press Enclave Road, JB Tito Marg and Mandir Marg.
