CleanMax Solar, sustainability partner for India’s leading corporates and Institutions, has installed rooftop solar plant at IISER, Bhopal. The 346 kWp rooftop solar installation is spread across the ISSER, Bhopal campus, on a roof area of 46,000 square feet, and was inaugurated by M Rajeevan, Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India and Prof Siva Umapathy, Director, IISER, Bhopal on Friday.
The expected generation for this project is 5.05 lakh units per annum, and is estimated to save ISSER around `9 lakhs annually. This project will abate 420 tons of carbon dioxide per annum which is equivalent to planting more than 10,000 full grown trees.
