The security of the Grid is done by the concerned States/Utilities. A Chinese company named Dongfang Electronics Company Ltd, China, in association with Indian partner, has been awarded Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) implementation contracts in Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Puducherry, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.
