The Central Electricity Authority (CEA) and Central Water Commission (CWC) have vetted a proposal by SJJVN Ltd on the hike in the project cost of a 900 MW Hydro Power Project being set up in Nepal.
The total cost for civil work (Rs 3,416 cr), E&M (Rs 1,220 cr) and finance (Rs 1,364 cr) is expected to be over Rs 6,000 crore, which means about Rs 6.67 crore per MW. The detail of the costing is shown in the tables
