Filling up a new train to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it seems, is no mean feat. Students from schools and colleges, civil society members and even families of railway employees will be ferried in buses to fill the seats of the inaugural superfast Vande Bharat Express between Bhopal’s Rani Kamlapati railway station and New Delhi on April 1.
As per the logistics drawn up by zonal railways, school and college students will be ferried in buses to Bina station in Madhya Pradesh from Jhansi to board the train to Agra. Around 500 members from civil society will also be part of the inaugural journey.
