In what could have seemed like a lucky escape from a certain disaster, an American Airlines flight somehow managed to land at Heathrow Airport in London amid high winds generated by Storm Gerrit on Wednesday.
The high winds were so powerful that they tilted the Boeing 777 with its wings dangerously angling towards the ground on the runway, but after 10 minutes of pure terror, the pilot managed to achieve balance and the plane made it to the runway unharmed; otherwise, it would have been a tragic accident.
