Terming ‘clean energy’ collaboration central to US-India relationship, US Special Climate Envoy, John Kerry, welcomed India’s huge push for renewable energy and called for a greater scale-up of technology to enable a ‘net-zero’ transition.
India’s environment minister Bhupender Yadav, on the other hand, emphasised on ‘inclusive’ and ‘sustainable’ action and achievements, keeping in mind the goals of poverty reduction and the principle that ‘no one should be left behind’.
