Sahnewal residents, especially those residing on the Dharaur road and the rear side of Udaseen dera, are without power and water supply for the past 36 hours.
“It has been over 36 hours that we are without power and water. One can well imagine our situation. Power was available in Shiv Enclave, which is located opposite our place, but in the colony located on the rear side of the Udaseen dera and in the Dharaur road area, it has not been restored. We have been making regular calls to the Electricity Department to resolve the issue, but no one seems to be bothered,” said Balwinder Singh Happy, a resident of the colony, He and other residents said the officials concerned were not bothered about their complaints and just turn a deaf ear to them when called.
