Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Qayoom Wani has condemned the imposition of toll tax on local vehicles moving on National Highway in south Kashmir.
In a statement Wani termed the decision arbitrary, harsh and economic onslaught on the poor transporters which would also affect the common masses who are already facing economic suppression.
The PDP leader said that repressive measures on political, economic and social fronts will add to the difficulties of the people who have already suffered a lot.
He urged upon the authorities for immediate withdrawal of this order and extended full support to the traders, transporters and their bodies at this difficult time.
