Following the footsteps of the Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA), the Prayagraj Municipal Corporation (PMC) has identified 34 roads of the city to make them smart.
Under the project the identified roads will have dividers along with footpaths for pedestrians on both the sides and greenery on the roadside or divider, which will be maintained by the PMC.
Under the Chief Minister Grid scheme the roads which are 10 metres or more wide have been identified for the initiative. Recently, chief engineer PMC Satish Kumar inspected the roads after which the municipal commissioner Chandra Mohan Garg forwarded the details of the identified roads to the state government.
