Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray on Tuesday alleged that most of the roads and bridges in Mumbai have been shut for more than two weeks due to shortage in supply of gravel for two weeks.
“Crucial works such asDelisle Road Bridge and other road works taken up by the the BMC will not even be complete by May 31 deadline,” Aaditya tweeted.
“Informally there has been talk that someone from the CM — Corrupt Man’s — close circles has pressurised all suppliers to supply through 1 company only, which is why now the cost has gone up more than 50%, will lead to escalation in road/bridge costs.
