Prayagraj: For the first time in the history of Indian Railways, the Railway Board (Ministry of Railways) has got a woman as the Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The new Chairperson of Railway Board, Jaya Verma Sinha, who took over as the new CEO of the Board on Friday, is closely associated with Prayagraj.
After spending her childhood in Baghambari housing scheme, Allapur, she completed her schooling from St. Mary’s Convent. After this, she studied Physics (Hons) from Allahabad University and also did her post graduation in psychology from AU.
