Giving shareholders an update on its new energy business, Reliance Industries’ Chairman Mukesh Ambani at the company’s 46th annual general meeting (AGM) said that its concurrent priority is to set up its battery giga factory by 2026.
“It will manufacture battery chemicals and cells leading all the way up to containerised energy storage solutions. It will include a battery recycling facility to deliver a truly integrated ecosystem,” Ambani said.
