MUMBAI: The rate of commercial LPG dropping by Rs 93 per cylinder in Mumbai from the month of August has provided some relief to hoteliers amid hiked prices of vegetables in the city. The price of a 19-kg commercial cylinder fell from Rs 1,733.50 to Rs 1,640.50 in Mumbai.
The price is lower than that of a commercial cylinder in Delhi which is retailing at Rs 1,680.
This year, there has been a significant reduction for commercial cylinders. In May, the LPG price in Mumbai fell from Rs 1,980 for a 19 kg commercial cylinder to Rs 1,808.50 per cylinder — a huge drop of Rs 171.50 per cylinder.
