The 77th meeting of Regional Railway Official Language Implementation Committee was organized by East Central Railway, Headquarters/Hajipur under the chairmanship of Anupam Sharma, General Manager on Monday. While presiding over the meeting, Sharma made a thorough review of official language promotion and said that the way Indian Railways is the lifeline of the country and connects this vast country geographically, in the same way official language Hindi weaves the Indian public in one thread.
He said that the country which does not have any language of its own, that nation is dumb. For these reasons, the demand for making Hindi the official language was first raised by non-Hindi speaking people.
