CHENNAI: Chief minister M K Stalin on Wednesday slammed the BJP-led government at the Centre for its decision to reduce LPG cylinder prices by 200, saying it was an indication that the Lok Sabha elections are approaching fast.
Interacting with reporters after inaugurating a 90 crore worth canal restoration project in his Kolathur constituency in Chennai, Stalin said, “The announcement to reduce the price of LPG cylinders is an indication that elections are fast approaching.”
Stalin would leave for Mumbai to take part in the two-day third meeting of the INDIA coalition beginning Thursday.
