The renewable energy industry expects much from the maiden Union Budget to be presented after the ambitious 2070 net-zero announcement was made in the Glasgow COP26 summit, in November 2020. Sumant Sinha, senior vice-president of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham), tells FE’s Anupam Chatterjee what kind of relaxations and incentives from the government would help in meeting the green energy targets on time.
