Rajasthan is all set to welcome its only heritage train service, the Valley Queen Heritage Train, which is ready to hit the tracks from Marwar Junction to Khamlighat starting October 5. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to virtually inaugurate this unique rail service from Jodhpur, as confirmed by North Western Railway (NWR) officials.
This heritage train offers a nostalgic touch, with its design mirroring that of a 150-year-old steam engine, ensuring a memorable journey for passengers. Comprising a 60-seater Vistadome AC coach, the train will operate four days a week, and tickets are priced at Rs 2,000 per person.
