The second phase of the ongoing construction work of a Railway underbridge at Katras scheduled today was postponed as heavy rains affected the movement of necessary equipment like cranes.
The Dhanbad division of East Central Railway, meanwhile also announced the restoration of all trains for today which have been earlier cancelled or rescheduled to facilitate the execution of box pushing work. The restorations of trains have been carried out in view of the postponement of the job.
A press note issued by the Senior Divisional Engineering (2) of Dhanbad Division said, “The Railway has provided a nine-hour traffic block from 8.45 am this morning to execute the box pushing work to NHAI as part of the broadening of railway underbridge from Tetulmari to Nichiput.
