The government will impart skills training to 50000 youth in trades related to Indian Railways under the Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana, unveiled by the railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Friday. The aim of this initiative is to impart training skills to the youth in various trades to bring qualitative improvement.
The scheme, which is under the flagship skilling scheme the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, will impart initial basic training of 100 hours to 1000 candidates across four trades including electrician, welder, machinist and fitter.
