MADURAI: Commissioner of Railway Safety for southern circle A M Chowdhary has ruled out conspiracy in Saturday’s fire accident on the private coach stabled at the Madurai railway yard which claimed the lives of nine passengers. Meanwhile, Government Railway Police are questioning five attenders of the agency which booked the coach, who were believed to have used LPG cylinders for cooking in violation of the railway act.
Chowdhary, who visited the accident site on Sunday and interacted with the injured passengers admitted to railway hospital, told reporters that he would submit the report within a month. It would mention the banned items carried on the coach. Earlier, he held a meeting with the railway officials.
