More than 20,000 members of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Union will go on strike for three days in Britain, bringing the rail traffic to a standstill across the country.
The RMT has announced that as the rail companies have failed to come out with an offer of a wage hike after one year of negotiations, its members will walk away on July 20, 22, and 29. The proposed strike may hit England mainly as the unions working in Scotland, Welsh and Ireland have not asked the members to join the strike.
