Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday said the railway projects announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Raigarh are meant to facilitate his corporate friend to transport coal and have overlooked passenger interest.
Baghel was addressing to media in Raipur.
“Modi had nothing to do with inconveniences caused to passengers as so many trains in Chhattisgarh have been cancelled,” he said.
Goods trains have been augmented in the Bilaspur railway zone, he said.
The Congress has staged protests against the cancellation of passenger trains in this festive season but the situation remains unheard, Baghel said.
