Rail connectivity to various power plants of TS Genco like Bhadradri Power Plant at Manuguru, Yadadri Power Plant at Vishnupuram and Bhupalapalli Power Plant at Bhupalapalli District came up for discussion when TS Genco Chairman and Managing Director Devulapalli Prabhakara Rao met SCR General Manager Gajanan Mallya at the Rail Nilayam.
It was decided to go for early completion of all the railway projects on top priority. The SCR authorities were informed about their expansion plan of Kothagudem thermal power plant at Palvancha and a request was made to supply sufficient rakes to meet the increased quantity of coal from Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) to their power plants for required power generation as per the increased demand during summer.
