Days after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Revdi’ jibe on political parties offering freebees, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday promised a host of sops, including free electricity to farmers and a limited power bills to general consumers on the lines of AAP led Delhi and Punjab Governments, while addressing a “Parivartan Sankalp Rally” at Ahmedabad.
Simultaneously, the party also announced measures for its mega ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from Wednesday stating its objective is to ensure that the concerns and demands of the people reach Delhi.
