Punjab New and Renewable Energy Sources Minister, Aman Arora, on Friday held a meeting aimed at removing bottlenecks in granting clearances for compressed biogas (CBG) and city gas distribution projects in the state.
During Friday’s meeting — which also saw the presence of Punjab Local Bodies minister, Inderbir Singh Nijjar — it was in-principle decided to review the annual rental amount for laying gas distribution pipelines. Apart from this, various inter-departmental issues related with compressed biogas was also discussed during the meeting.
