PSU stock jumps 6% on setting up thermal power plants in Odisha
Shares of PSU firm NLC India jumped 6% to Rs 136.1 in Friday’s trade on BSE after the state-owned company announced that it is setting up a 3×800 MW coal-based thermal power project at Jharsuguda and Sambalpur districts, Odisha.
The land acquisition process and evaluation of offers for shortlisting of construction contractors for the project is under progress, the company said.
