Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and unveiled the foundation stones for various infrastructural and development works costing about Rs 18,000 crore in Uttarakhand.
The projects he inaugurated include the 120 MW Vyasi hydro electric project costing Rs 1,777 crore, 38 kilometre stretch of NH-58 widened from Devprayag to Srikot at a cost of Rs 257 crore, 33 kilomtre road widening and duct construction on NH 58 from Brahmapuri to Kaudiyala costing Rs 248 crore, landslide treatment on 500 metre stretch of NH-58 at Lambagad costing Rs 108 crore, chronic landslide treatment on NH-58 at Sakanidhar, Srinagar and Devprayag costing Rs 76 crore, Himalayan cultural centre in Dehradun costing Rs 67 crore and state-of-the-art perfumery and aroma laboratory at Centre for Aromatic Plants in Dehradun costing Rs 40 crore.
