Hyderabad: Congress former MP Ponnam Prabhakar on Monday demanded that the BJP government at the Centre order an inquiry into the alleged irregularities that took place in allotment of Tadicherla coal mine contract to a private firm.
The central government has the power to scrap the contract and it should do it, he said. “I am writing letters to the CBI, ED and Union coal ministry seeking inquiry into the allotment of a 30-year contract of Tadicherla coal mine to a private firm. The BRS leaders are involved in the deal,” he alleged.
