India’s oil marketing companies (OMCs) have started off the year with a price increase, raising the rate of commercial liquid petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders by Rs 25.
With the price of domestic cylinders unchanged, regular consumers might not feel the pinch, but restaurateurs and hoteliers will, with the price of commercial cylinders now Rs 1,769 in Delhi, Rs 1,721 in Mumbai, Rs 1,870 in Kolkata and Rs 1,971 in Chennai.
