NEW DELHI: International passengers flying out of Delhi Airport will soon be able to get a Covid test done before departure. While Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) has from earlier this month testing for passengers flying in from abroad, the facility will now be extended to international outbound also.
Sources say passengers travelling to other countries can get RT-PCR done for Rs 2,400 before departure at this 24×7 facility and results will be available in 4-6 hours. DIAL is yet to announce when the facility for outbound international will start, though it is supposed to happen very soon, say sources.
