Members of the Revolutionary Marxist Party of India(RMPI) today alleged that the state government’s move to raise the power tariff was causing a lot of problem to the consumers.
Addressing a press conference here, party leader Mangat Ram Pasla said the party would hold protests in all district headquarters from August 5 to August 9.
He said that a state-level protest would be held at Patiala in the first week of September, adding that a campaign on the issue had been led by various committees of the parties at the district-level between July 15 to July 31.
