Power supply was disrupted for hours in the busiest commercial MP Nagar area after a transformer caught fire. The senior MPSEB officials claimed that fire was not short circuit borne but due to some fault near Sanchi Milk kiosk.
In the major fire which was controlled by fire tenders which were broke near a hospital at around 2 in the afternoon damaged 6 shops along with Sanchi Milk kiosk. The shops were situated adjacent to the kiosk and were road side stalls used to run shops.
The fire tenders and locals claimed that fire was short circuit borne but MPSEB officials rejected the speculations and alleged that Sanchi Milk kiosk was responsible behind the fire which spread to the nearby shops.
