Following a call given by the National Coordination Committee of Electricity Employees and Engineers, the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd (HPSEBL) Employees’ Union will hold a protest at electrical divisions and circle offices across the state on January 8.
Kuldeep Kharwara, state president of the union, in a statement issued today said the union would strongly oppose the amendments in the Electricity Act-2003 proposed by the Government of India as these were anti-employee and anti-consumers.
