According to data from Bengaluru’s electricity manager, the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM), the KPTCL, Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited, will be undertaking some repair and maintenance works across the city this weekend, when most employees sign off from work and the load on the grid will be lighter.
These works include quarterly and half-year maintence, and construction of new direct current lines. These will make for some more power cuts in the city on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Outages might occur between 10 am and 4 pm, with some works stretching till 10 pm.
