MUMBAI: Ahead of elections will the state face load-shedding for up to 3 hours? The strike by workers of Western Coalfields Ltd, biggest coal suppliers to the power generators in the state, has affected supply and also power generation badly.
The state has done away with load-shedding since 2012-13. So, the state power generation firm is producing 2800 Mw despite an installed capacity of 10,000 MW.
