TRICHY: Tangedco has announced that power supply will be suspended in Srirangam area of Trichy city on Thursday (August 24) for periodical maintenance work at the Srirangam substation.
Srirangam, Melur, Vasanthanagar, Moolathoppu, Uthira streets, Chithirai streets, Adayavalanjan Street, Railway Station Road, Periyar Nagar, Mangamma Nagar, Amma Mandapam, Veereswaram and Mambalasaalai will face power shutdown between 9.45am and 4pm on Thursday.
Suburban areas like Siruganur, Thirupattur, M R Palayam and Ootathur will face power shutdown between 9.45am and 5pm on Wednesday due to maintenance work at the Siruganur substation.
