Mango and Jugsalai, both areas serviced by Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited ( JBVNL), reeled from an acute power crisis on Tuesday.
More than 1 lakh residents did not have electricity supply from early morning in Mango, and in Jugsalai more than 25,000 residents faced a power ordeal due technical snags.
Power was snapped from two feeders in Mango because of installation of a new transformer on National Highway-33, resulting in outage from 8am. Residents of Dimna Road, Post Office Road, Teachers’ Colony, Ulidih, Moon City and several other localities in Mango complained about the prolonged power cut.
