BENGALURU: A 100-metre damaged stretch of Hosa Road, off Hosur Road, is crying for attention. Riddled with potholes, it appears like a kutcha road that is unmotorable and causes huge traffic snarls during peak hours.
Nearly half the damaged stretch is an apology for even a kutcha road. Vehicles heading towards Sarjapur ORR use the stretch, which comes after Kasavanahalli towards Kudlu. Hundreds of schoolbuses cross Hosa Road as there are many schools along the stretch. Amrita University is located very close to it.
Complaining about garbage dumped on the roadside creating a mess during rain, residents said the stench makes it difficult to breathe.
