Heavy rain and subsequent rainwater accumulation on various roads across the city have left them in a poor condition.
One can see pits and potholes on Bibi Wala Road, Amrik Singh Road, and GT Road. Now, these roads require urgent attention of the authorities concerned as motorists are facing trouble while driving along these stretches.
Residents say incessant rain and poor maintenance are among major reasons behind their deteriorating condition. For instance, students of educational institutions located on Bibi Wala Road like DAV College, RBDAV Senior Secondary Public School are the worst affected.
