On November 23, 2020, Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) notified new regulations for the “Determination of Natural Gas Pipeline Tariff”, under which there will be a two-zone tariff structure – Zone-I will be 300-km from the source of gas (gas field or LNG import terminal) and Zone-II will be beyond that.
