Under criticism for the condition of city roads leading to inconvenience among citizens during monsoon, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has decided to appoint an expert technical consultant to prepare maintenance management reports of all roads in the city by conducting visual distress surveys and making necessary recommendations.
The PMC, through Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL), has collected road inventory data under the Road Asset Management System (RAMS) project for the city in 2017-2018. “The PMC plans to use data from the RAMS project of Pune city for preparation of maintenance management report for road network.
