Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than Rs 9750 crores in Rewari, Haryana, on Friday. “Lakhs of people” will benefit from these projects, said the PM.
“Lakhs of people will benefit from new railway lines like Rohtak, Meham, Hansi, Jind, Sonipat and doubling of lines like Ambala Cantt, Dappar. When such facilities are created, life becomes easier, and business also becomes easier,” said PM Modi while addressing a public rally.
Going in the past, the PM said that before his government came to power, “an average budget of Rs 300 crore was available” for the railways in the state.
